Remember: the town of Sibu has its museum : the Cultural Heritage Museum, housed in the Sibu Heritage Centre (formerly Sibu Municipal building).
The Centre, which comes under the Sibu Civic Centre Cultural Heritage Committee, was refurbished in 2010. Its small museum displays some 1000 artifacts relating to the ethnic groups of the area and to the colonial era, Japanese occupation and Brooke administration.
Central Road, Sibu. Open Tuesday to Sunday, 9am to 5 pm. Closed on major public holidays. Free admission.
