The next talk in our Heritage Speakers Series, “Revealing the Invisible in Heritage Preservation“, will be given by Dr. Derham Groves.
When assessing buildings for their heritage value and whether they should be preserved, belief systems such as feng shui, spiritual associations, and back-stories are often ignored. Dr Groves will discuss the importance of these invisible contributions to the richness and significance of place making.
Dr Groves is an architect, art historian, curator and writer, and Senior Fellow at the University of Melbourne.
