On 14th Jan 2021, the SHS ExCo met with Mr Hii Chang Kee, Perm Sec of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture. Present were also En Tazudin Mokhtar, Director of the Sarawak Museum Department, and some members of his team. We discussed projects of awareness and advocacy that SHS was championing, ways of collaboration and aspects of the new Sarawak Heritage Ordinance (2019) which will come in force soon. Overall a productive and informative session.
